• October 22, 2009 Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will conduct on-site monitoring of rehabilitation works for 18 km long section of Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda (Armenian Border) road in Samtskhe-Javakheti region.

• October 19, 2009 Briefing will be held at the conference hall of Roads Department of Georgia to introduce information about “Development of Service and Rest Areas System for Transit Highways“ and make presentation of mentioned project. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Mr. David Tkeshelashvili and Chairman of Roads Department, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili will attend the briefing; presentation will be made by Mr. George Tsagareli, Director of Eurasian Transport Corridor Investment Center. In the developed and some developing countries service and rest facilities form an integral part of the entire modern highway system. Their importance is related to several circumstances:

• October 18, 2009 Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia and Mr. Valeri Chitaishvili, Governor of Guria region will inspect rehabilitation works conducting on 6 km long section of Berdznistskaro-Kokhnari-Zemokheti local road.

• October 14, 2009 Tomorrow, on 15 October, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will open bridge over the Riv. Supsa located at km 18 of Chokhatauri-Zomleti motor road.

• October 12, 2009 Mr. Nick Gabelaia, Director of Company “Geovia” will make a presentation of variable information signs and technical equipments for road safety at the conference hall of RD. Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure and Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will attend the presentation.
