Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Mr. Zurab Arsoshvili, State Representative in Shida kartli inspected rehabilitation works of Kareli-Samtsverisi-Osiarui road section.

Project considers construction of alternative road of the main highway, which total length is 22 km. Works are performed by “Gza-2005” Ltd; the value of works financed under the World Bank amounts to 4 mln 300 thousand GEL. 50 people are employed on the project and most of them are locals.

Construction of Kareli-Samtsverisi-Osiauri road section has commenced in March of the current year and will be finalized by the next spring.
