Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure and Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department, participated in the rally, held within the scope of the project “take care of the environment and plant a tree”, in terms of site development near Igoeti-Sveneti section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze Highway.  Mr. Asad Alan, the World Bank Regional Director joined the rally.

Employees of the Ministry and Roads Department actively participated in respective rally.
 

More than 300 ash-trees and Caucasus pine-trees will be planted along the respective section for the windbreak zone. Development project is carried out by blessing of the Holiness and Beatitude Catholicos Patriarch of all Georgia Ilia II and it considers planting trees as in the capital as well as outside the capital and throughout the whole Georgia. 

The goal of the mentioned project is to facilitate to creation of environmentally friendly condition.
