Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will open bridge over the river Mtkvari at 17 km of Igoeti-Kaspi-Akhalkalaki (secondary) road.

Piers were strengthened on mentioned bridge, shore protection and regulating structures were provided. Also, sidewalks were arranged on the bridge deck, new railings were installed and painted, bridge approaches were provided, asphalt-concrete pavement was constructed on the carriageway, reflective posts were installed at the bridge approaches, road signs were arranged and road markings were provided for the carriageway. Total length of the bridge is 125 m, width of the carriageway is 6 m. 
 

Rehabilitation works on the bridge were commenced in February of the current year. Works were performed by Ltd “Khidmsheni 99”. Value of works financed under the state budget amounts to 1 mln. 212 thousand GEL.
 

Rehabilitation of bridge over the riv. Mtkvari at 17 km of Igoeti-Kaspi-Akhalkalaki (secondary) road will promote to creation of comfortable and uninterrupted traffic movement as for light as well as for heavy vehicles.
