Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will open 5 km long section of Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri secondary road in Imereti region; mentioned road section is an approaching road to Gelati Monastery Complex.

Roads rehabilitation works considers construction of road base and a new asphalt-concrete pavement, provision and repairing of artificial structures and ditches (drainage channels); also, arrangement of road signs and road markings. 

Works were executed by “Engineering Construction Group" Ltd. Cost of construction works financed by the state budget amounts to 1 mln 988 thousand GEL.
 

Rehabilitation of 5 km long section of Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road will promote integration of Georgian tourist routes into the international and internal network.
