The department of construction of roads, airfields, bridges and tunnels of the Technical University of Georgia will have a new laboratory of international standards for determining quality of cement-concrete. Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, handed over to the Technical University 26 type of laboratory equipment, overall 51 pieces. 

Before this cement-concrete quality control laboratory, the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has delivered to the department of construction of roads, airfields, bridges and tunnels of Technical University of Georgia the new international standards laboratory for determining quality of asphalt. Both laboratories were handed over within the frame of Aide-Mémoire concluded between the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Technical University. Lack of such technical facilities in the Technical University made affect on the quality of students’ education.

 
The Ministry of Regional Development has renovated the building of the department of construction of roads, airfields, bridges and tunnels in Technical University within the scope of Aide-Mémoire. The Ministry plans to provide library for the respective faculty, which will be equipped with all necessary textbooks and manuals for students.
