The successful students of Akaki Tsereteli State University will work at Kutaisi office of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has met with 11 students of Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University, who were interned at Kutaisi office of Roads Department.
At this stage, after successful completion of internship, 2 course graduates were given opportunity to work at Kutaisi office of RD,   the other 9 students were employed by the contractor companies.

The students of Technical Engineering Faculty have undergone course of training within the Memorandum of Cooperation, which was signed between the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Akaki Tsereteli State University in 2009.

The goal of the internship was to ensure better quality of learning process and preparation of qualified personnel for road sector. Students have undergone training at different divisions and units of Kutaisi office; they have received practical experience on various construction sites.
