Rehabilitation of 5 km long Khulo-Kedlebi road section is completed. The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili and the Chairman of the Government of Adjara Mr. Levan Varshalomidze have visited rehabilitated road.

Cement-concrete pavement was laid on the respective road section. Artificial structures and retaining walls were provided. Drainage system was rehabilitated. Civil works were implemented by Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.

Value of the project financed under the Georgian Government amounts to 2 mln 760 thousand GEL. About 50 persons were engaged in rehabilitation works and most of them are locals.

Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili and Mr. Levan Varshalomidze have inspected rehabilitated bridge in the village Danisparauli. Mentioned bridge has been causing a problem to the population within 15 years. As a result of inundation, the bridge was taken away by the river and connection between Batumi and Goderdzi Pass was impossible.
The design has been changed this year and 16 m long bridge with the most complicated technical characteristics was constructed. Supporting concrete wall with 36 m height was erected, which will protect the bridge from damage.
The project is implemented by Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
