The Roads Department has completed the construction of a new bridge crossing at km 57 of the Tbilisi–Bakurtsikhe–Lagodekhi international highway.

The existing bridge, which had been built in the 1960s, was deteriorated and no longer suitable for rehabilitation, making the construction of a new bridge necessary.

The new bridge is a single-span beam structure, with a width of 14.6 meters and a total length of 31.7 meters. It has two abutments.

The project was financed from the state budget, with a total cost of GEL 1,768,900.
