The Minister of Infrastructure, Revaz Sokhadze, together with his deputies, Deputy Minister of Regional Development Levan Zautashvili, Chairman of the Roads Department Levan Darakhvelidze, State Representative in the Imereti region Levan Zalkaliani, and the Mayor of Tkibuli Municipality Davit Kublashvili, visited the disaster-affected village of Kursi in the Imereti region.

The Minister, along with representatives of the Ministry and local authorities, reviewed on site the condition of the damaged road infrastructure.

Revaz Sokhadze, together with representatives of the Roads Department, discussed measures to stabilize the current situation and ensure safe mobility for the population, including the possibility of arranging an additional access road to nearby villages.

In accordance with the decision taken, works on the construction of a temporary alternative road will begin in the near future. In parallel, the design of a new permanent bypass road will also be prepared.
