By decision of the Government of Georgia, the Roads Department of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Georgia plans to rehabilitate an approximately 5-kilometer access road to Nunisi Resort in Kharagauli Municipality. A tender for the design works will be announced in the near future.

The rehabilitation of the Moliti–Zvare–Nunisi road will significantly contribute to the development of the resort area and ensure safe and comfortable mobility for local residents, tourists, and visitors.

The rehabilitation section begins at the Zestaponi–Kharagauli–Chumateleti road of domestic importance, in the village of Moliti, where the existing road surface is severely damaged and requires full rehabilitation.

The road will be constructed in accordance with modern standards, ensuring its durability and long-term operation. The rehabilitation will substantially improve road safety, reduce travel time, and minimize existing risks.

Nunisi Resort dates back to the 19th century and is known for its therapeutic mineral (balneological) waters, as well as the unique mineral waters of Zvare. Therefore, the proper functioning of this road is important both for the local population and for the overall development of Kharagauli Municipality.

The upgraded road will simplify daily life for local residents and increase the accessibility of the resort for visitors. The improvement of the road will promote tourism growth, enhance the socio-economic conditions of the local population, and stimulate economic activity in the region.

The design phase will be completed within the current year, after which a tender for construction works will be announced.
