07.08.10Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Request for Expression of Interest GEORGIA
Georgia has received financing from the World Bank towards the costs of the Third East West Highway Improvement Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, and related services and consulting services to be procured under this project which will be jointly financed by the Government of Georgia. The procurement process undertook by the Initial Request for Expression of Interest published on 05 February 2010 in DG Market for the assignment “Preparation of Detailed design, bidding documents and supervision of construction of Ruisi-Rikoti section (km 95-km 143) of the E-60 Highway” has been cancelled. The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (RDMRDI) now invites eligible consultants to express their interest in providing the following services: “Preparation of detailed design and bidding documents, for construction of the Ruisi-Rikoti section (km 95-km 143) of the E-60 Highway”. The consultant will be tasked to prepare the detailed design for upgrading the existing two-lane highway to four-lane motorway standard, including bypasses of urban areas on new alignments. Interested companies shall provide information demonstrating that they have the necessary design experience to perform the aforesaid services. Expression of interest should cover, but not limited to: Experience relevant to the project activities, key staff resources and qualification, corporate profile. On the basis of the EOI a short-list will be established and consultants will be requested to submit technical and financial proposals.
