Installation of New Jersey Type Median Barriers along section km 55 – km 80 of E-60 Highway
1. Georgia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of Second East-West Highway Improvement Project Additional Financing and intends to apply part of the proceeds to eligible payments for contract for Installation of New Jersey Type Median Barriers along section km55-km80 of E-60 Highway.
2. The project implementing agency, the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia now invites eligible bidders to submit their bids in sealed envelopes for execution of installation of New Jersey type median strip and road fencing with steel curved guardrails. Implementation period for execution of construction works is 3 months.
3. Procurement of works will be conducted through the procedures of National Competitive Bidding as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (January, 2011) and is open to all eligible bidders, as defined in the guidelines.
4. Interested eligible bidders who wish to receive any additional information and inspect the bidding documentation should contact Mr. Ilia Meskhishvili, Head of Procurement Organization Unit of the Roads Department of Georgia at the address below during 10:00 A.M till 17:00 P.M.
