Clarification
Corrections have been made to the Specific Procurement Notice published by the Roads Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of Georgia on December 8, 2008 in local newspaper “24 Hours” (#274) for the procurement of remaining rehabilitation works of international Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda road km18(0.350) – km39 section.
Item 4 should be set forth as follows:
4. Bidders should submit the qualification data and Bids in Georgian language in sealed packages, in two copies (one original and one copy) on January 20, 2009 from 900 to 1800 and on January 21, 2009 from 900 to 1200 to the following address: 12 Al. Kazbegi avenue, Tbilisi, Roads Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of Georgia, Common unit, ground floor.
Item 11 should be set forth as follows:
11. Bidders shall be required to provide the Bid Security in the form of bank guarantee issued by the banking institution or insurance company licensed in Georgia. The amount of bank guarantee shall not be less than 1% of the bid. (Bank guarantee for Bid Security should be valid within 90 days, starting from 21.01.2009).
