• August 12, 2013 Rehabilitation of km6-km24 section of Shukureti-Usakhelo-Korbouli road The project for rehabilitation of 18,40 km section of Shukureti-Usakhelo-Korbouli road considers construction of asphalt-concrete pavement and arrangement of ditches, rehabilitation of the existing 4 bridges, dismantling of 1 bridge and construction of the new one. Retaining gabions  and steel water pipes will be also constructed, entrances to the private yards and sidewalks will be repaired; new enclosed bus stop will be constructed.

• August 9, 2013 Rehabilitation of km50+800-km57+275 section of international Samtredia-Lanchkhuti-Grigoleti road The project for rehabilitation of 6.5 km section of international Samtredia-Lanchkhuti-Grigoleti road foresees construction of concrete ditches, entrances to private yards, stopping points for public transport, pedestrian path and culverts. Rehabilitation works also include installation of the new road signs and marking of the carriageway, repair of reinforced concrete pipes and some sections of damaged pavement.

• August 7, 2013 Rehabilitation of the bridge over the river Noghela existing at km 32 of Senaki-Nokalakevi-Bandza-Khoni road. Rehabilitation project of Noghela Bridge at km 32 of Senaki-Nokalakevi-Bandza-Khoni road envisages: dismantling of existing bridge and construction of a new bridge, construction of road pavement at carriageway, installation of road signs and marking of the carriageway, also widening of river bed and construction of protective structures.

• August 5, 2013 Construction of Kobuleti Bypass road (Lot II) is in progress   Length of the road to be constructed – 18.8 km  At present earthwork is ongoing (removal of topsoil). Also, reinforced-concrete piles are being constructing at overpass No. 1 (54 piles are constructed). Concurrently production of reinforced-concrete pipes and pre-stressed beams has been commenced at construction base.

• August 2, 2013 Roads Department of Georgia disclosed to media results of 6 months working Roads Department of Georgia disclosed to media statistical report of the first 6 months of 2013. The report covers information on activities considered by Action Plan 2013 that is developed by the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure. The report also gives information on expenditures made for improvement of the road infrastructure, consulting services and etc.
