• July 14, 2009 Today, on 14 July, at 6 pm, at conference hall of RD will be held session of Tender Commission with regard to prequalification selection of the bidders for rehabilitation works of Secondary Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi road, which length is 27 km.

• July 10, 2009 Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia and Mr. Levan Varshalomidze, Chairman of Government of Adjara opened secondary road section with a length of 4 km in the city of Kobuleti (villages Sameba-Zeda Sameba) of Adjara region.  This is a pilot project and in Georgia it’s a novelty to utilize modern technology, concrete paver during the construction of village roads.

• July 5, 2009 Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will monitoring rehabilitation works of 6, 8 km length of secondary Adigeni-Arali-Ude road section (villages Arali and Ude). Rehabilitation works on the mentioned section includes: construction of road base and paving it with asphalt-concrete (2 layer). Also, arraigning and repairing works of structures, drainage systems, retaining walls, replacing culverts with new ones and repairing of existing structures.  Bridge of reinforce-concrete located on river Qvabliani was rehabilitated.

• July 4, 2009 Near Rikoti tunnel, at km142 of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will give informative briefing related to the rehabilitation works to be conducted in Tunnel. Regarding the mentioned issue, in May of the current year, Georgian, German and Austrian specialists carried out all necessary surveys in Rikoti tunnel for planned rehabilitation works;
