Roads Department of Georgia will open 10 km long section of Vaziani-Gombori–Telavi road.
As a result of roads reconstruction, travel time from Tbilisi to Telavi will be reduced. Traffic flow driving towards Kakheti direction will be diverted to the respective road. Roads reconstruction will promote to the development of regional infrastructure. While working on design, route, passing through densely populated areas, was selected among the alternative alignments in order to improve social conditions of local communities.

Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure and Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia, will open 8 km length Gamdlis Tskaro-Khurvaleti road section part of International Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze Highway.

On 18 August, at 19:00, presentation of the project “Georgian Roads - History and Contemporaneity” will be held at the cinema “Tbilisi” in Batumi (address: 6, Baratashvili street). Roads Department of Georgia is the author and organizer of the project.
