    Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will inspect rehabilitated sections at km 14 of Chalaubani-Signagi-Anaga road and km 1 of access road to St. Nino Monastery, which were damaged as a result of landslide. Walls (gabions) were built by application of new technology.

    Mr. Mikheil Saakashvili, President of Georgia, Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department will open 25 km long section of Igoeti-Sveneti road. 

    Upgrading of both directions of mentioned 25 km long section with cement-concrete pavement and construction of RHS Igoeti and Lekhura bridges are completed.  80km long road starting from Natakhtari now is connected to Gori.   Traffic movement will become more comfortable once the road is opened, that is especially important given the increased traffic flow.

    Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will attend opening of Road Bridge over the railway in the city of Gori.
    Rehabilitation works on mentioned 8 spans bridge (total length 130 m, width of carriageway 10 m) considered replacement of damaged superstructures with new ones, rehabilitation of piers and construction of new asphalt-concrete pavement on them. Also, project invaseged rehabilitation of bridge railings, arrangement of sidewalks (width of each is 1,5 m) and road marking on carriageway.
