Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department will open 3 km long road section of Kutaisi-Alpana-Mamisoni pass and a bridge located at 113 km of the same road in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti region.

On 8 December, Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili awarded order of Honor and medal to Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department, employees of the department and representatives of the companies engaged in road sector for their contribution in road infrastructure, high professionalism and fruitful work provided within the current year. Mikheil Saakashvili personally rewarded 16 candidates nominated for the Government award.

Mr. Jambul Bakuradze, Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department will conduct on-site monitoring of civil works related to one of the major sections – 15 km long Sveneti-Ruisi road section of E60 highway.
