• March 5, 2010 Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department will inspect rehabilitation works conducted at 12 km long section of Shulaveri-Red bridge road in Kvemo Kartli Region.

• March 2, 2010 Conference related to the “Development of Service and Rest Areas System for Transit Highways and the Border Crossings of Georgia under Public-Private-Partnership“ was held at the conference hall of Roads Department. Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department  and Mr. George Tsagareli, Director of Eurasian Transport Corridor Investment Center attended the conference. Presentation was made at the conference.

• March 1, 2010 Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia inspected rehabilitation works conducted on 27km long section of Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi (secondary) road.

• February 28, 2010 Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia inspected construction of a new bridge over the river Enguri at Anaklia-Ganmukhuri road. Construction of 13 spans bridge over the river Enguri is in process.   Total length of the bridge is 360 m, but carriageway width is 8m. Construction of a new bridge will promote to creation of uninterrupted and comfortable traffic movement within the urban areas. Also, it will improve social condition of the local communities.

• February 24, 2010 Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia, will open 22 km long section of Akhmeta-Telavi secondary road in Kaheti region.
