Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department will conduct on-site monitoring of civil works related to one of the major sections – 15 km long Sveneti-Ruisi road section of E60 highway.

Today, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia conducted on-site visit at 111 km of Kutaisi-Alpana Mamisoni Pass in Racha-Lechkhumi region in order to familiarize with inflicted damage.

Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia and Mr. Zaza Avaliani, Director of Tbilisi Vocational Training Center “Spektri” signed Aide-Mémoire of Cooperation. The goal of the project is to ensure the practical implementation of the presidential program “Development of vocational education and encourage employment” in terms of training and preparing specialists for the development of road infrastructure.

Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia visited completed 10 km long section of Kavtiskhevi-Kaspi (secondary) road. Roads rehabilitation works for mentioned section considered construction of asphalt-concrete pavement, also reestablishment of artificial structures, side drains, storm water system and provision of road signs. Currently road-marking works are underway.

Presentation related to the “co-operation in terms of road safety” was held at Roads Department. Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure and Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia attended the presentation. Also, representatives of Georgian and foreign companies engaged in rehabilitation works of Georgian roads attended the presentation.
