• May 14, 2010 Today, construction of Service and Rest Areas has been started for the first time in Georgia. Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia and Mr. Soso Pkhakadze, Chairman of Supervisory Board of JSC Wissol Petroleum Georgia and other partners will attend commencement of construction works at adjacent territory of Gori Interchange of E-60 highway.

• May 12, 2010 Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia inspected rehabilitation works carried out on 7 km long section of Napostari-Salkhino-Didi Chkoni road of Martvili Municipality.

• May 12, 2010 The World Bank hosted the Donors` Coordination Council of the South Caucasus at the Hotel Tbilisi Marriott. Envoys of all the three countries of the South Caucasus and Donors involved in transport sector (EU, EBRD, Council of Europe, BSTDB, EIB, KFW, ADB, JICA, MCC, OSCE and WB) were participating in the meeting. Armenian delegation was headed by Mr. Manuk Vardanyan, Armenian Transport and Communication Minister and Azerbaijan delegation was lead by Mr. Musa Hasanov, Deputy Minister of Transport of Azerbaijan.

• May 10, 2010 Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia and Mr. Alex Wiznitzer, General Manager of the Israeli National Roads Company Ltd signed Aide-memoire of Cooperation.  Respective Aide-memoire will facilitate to develop and strengthen relations between the parties.  Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure will attend the signature ceremony.

• May 8, 2010 Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia inspected rehabilitation works carried out on 3 km long road section, which is access road to the village Octomberi of Zugdidi Municipality.
