    The Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili and  the chairman of the Government of Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Mr. Levan Varshalomidze visited the rehabilitation works of a segment of the Kobuleti bypass (with length 12.4 km - meter) of Ajara bypass road.  The Auto Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia implemented the construction works.
     
    This section will be covered with   asphalt - concrete cover. Railroad crossing Estacada will be built; three transportation nodes will be arranged.  5 bridges and 5 passages through the dry ravine will be constructed. Artificial structures, retaining walls, drainage systems and appropriate infrastructure will be arranged.  The land works, works of removing the vegetation and arrangement works of the piles on the one of the bridges (at the chekpoint 15+84) is being implemented currently. Kobuleti bypass will be begun near the village Natanebi (Ozurgeti district), will go through the village Ochkhamuri nd will be end in Makhinjauri.

    Today, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia with Mr. David Gagoshidze, the Governor of Racha - Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti inspected infrastructural projects ongoing in Racha. Later, the Minister met with the representatives of local self-government, chief executives (Gamgebeli) of municipalities and the chairmen of the assemblies. Minister visited the village Glola and examined newly-built 31 m long bridge over the river Bdghviora, they also inspected construction of 45 m long bridge.

    Today, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure along with Mr. Lasha Makatsaria, the State Representative-Governor of Imereti region and Mr. Vakhtang Balavadze, the Chairman of the Committee on Regional Policy, Local Self Government and the Mountainous Regions of Georgia visited ongoing construction works of euro-standard cycle track along Agmashenebeli Avenue in Kutaisi. Cycle track is being constructed along the sidewalks and its length is 7km.

    Village Gachiani is fighting against natural disaster. Today, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Mr. Davit Kirkitadze, Governor of Kvemo Kartli region met with population, who suffered from natural disaster in the village Gachiani of Gardabani municipality. They also inspected ongoing shore protection works conducting along the river Mtkvari.  Nearly 1200 households live in the village Gachiani and at this stage 10 houses are in particularly bad condition.

    Today, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia met with the heads of sub-agencies of the Ministry (Roads Department of Georgia, Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, United Water Supply Company of Georgia) and chiefs of about 200 contractor companies at the  Chancellery of the Government.
    Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili talked about future plans with companies’ representatives. They set up the specific dates for commencement and completion of construction works. The Minister encouraged the leaders of the companies to implement works in a high quality manner and took construction sites under his own control. Attention was drawn to the environmental issues at different construction phases.
