2 years have passed since the Russian aggression towards Georgia. The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia together with its sub-departments, under the leadership of Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, have paid tribute to the victims of the war.

 

Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili with the representatives of the Ministry has visited Mukhatgverdi Fraternal Cemetery and has put flowers on tombs of the fallen soldiers.  Afterwards, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili has visited village Metekhi and has met with IDPs (after tragically events of the Russian-Georgian war in August 2008) from Shida Kartli and passed them foodstuff.

 

Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili and the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia have arranged very pleasant surprise for refugee children, settled in Metekhi and showed them animated film "Shrek" duplicated on Georgian language. After the film, the children received presents.

 

IDPs have thanked Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili for support and aid and noticed that such rallies are very important not only for the social part, but also for psychological adjustment.
