Today, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia has conducted first meeting with the Heads of the Divisions of Roads Department at Kutaisi regional office.  Representatives of Roads Department reviewed all projects, which are planned to be implemented in the West part of the country in 2010.

Among them were discussed in details substantially important projects, such as Rehabilitation of 50 km long section of Zestaponi-Kutaisi-Samtredia road, Construction of Batumi and Kobuleti Bypass Road (Adjara seaside cities) and Rehabilitation of Rikoti Tunnel. Furthermore, it is planned to construct two new bridges and rehabilitate about 15 old ones in Imereti region in 2010, also it is envisaged to rehabilitate more than 100 km long road.
