Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia inspected rehabilitation works carried out on 25km long section of Ozurgeti-Ninoshvili-Lesa road (local) in Guria region.

Cement-concrete pavement is constructed on respected road section by application of German technology and it will connect 11 villages and two regional centers to each other. Average operational period of the pavement is 30-35 years. Road bed, artificial structures and drainage system was reinstated. Currently, construction of cement-concrete pavement is underway. 

Rehabilitation works on Ozurgeti-Ninoshvili-Lesa road section has been commenced in April of the current year and it will be completed by the end of the year. Value of works financed under the state budget amounts to 12 mln GEL.
