The meeting of the Government of Georgia was held in Rustavi. Members of the Government along with other issues discussed the feasibility study related to modernization of Tbilisi-Rustavi section of Tbilisi-Red Bridge road (Azerbaijani border). Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia introduced the respective project to the members of the Government.

Tbilisi-Rustavi road section is distinguished for its high intensity of traffic flow. As a result of upgrading of the respective road section into four lane highway, transit traffic capacity will be increased as to Tbilisi-Rustavi direction as well as towards Azerbaijan and Armenia.
