Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia visited completed 10 km long section of Kavtiskhevi-Kaspi (secondary) road.

Roads rehabilitation works for mentioned section considered construction of asphalt-concrete pavement, also reestablishment of artificial structures, side drains, storm water system and provision of road signs.  Currently road-marking works are underway.

Rehabilitation works were performed by Georgian company “Tsekuri” Ltd.  Value of the works financed under the World Bank amounts to 2mln 314 thousand GEL.
 

Secondary and Local roads of Georgia shall be rehabilitated under the WB financing, that implies utilization of various construction technologies, which are approved and tested throughout the World.  The goal of respective project is rehabilitation of roads passing through the urban areas thus will ensure comfortable traffic movement and improve social condition of the local communities.
