Mr. David Tkeshelashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department will inspect rehabilitation works conducted at 12 km long section of Shulaveri-Red bridge road in Kvemo Kartli Region.

Rehabilitation works on mentioned section considered provision of a road base and construction of a new asphalt-concrete pavement on it; also, construction of artificial structures and culverts. Currently, construction of roadbed is underway. 
 

Project has a great importance for the development of economy and tourism potential in the region. Reconstruction of road network will promote integration of Georgian tourist routes into the international network.

Construction works were executed by Georgian construction company “Sapari” LTD. Value of works financed under the state budget amounts to 4 mln 777 thousand GEL.
