Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will open 11 km road section of Akhmeta-Telavi-Bakurtsikhe secondary road in Kakheti region.
Construction works on mentioned section considered double surface treatment and construction of new leveling layer, also restoration of structures, culverts, ditches and drainage system, arrangement of road signs and marking.

Value of works financed under the World Bank amounts to 1 mln. 571 thousand GEL. Works at mentioned section were performed by “Serpentine” Ltd.
The goal of respective project is rehabilitation of road network within the densely populated villages thus will promote to increase traffic capacity on roads and create comfortable traffic movement in urban areas.
