Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will open 4 km long Zahesi road, section of Tbilisi bypass.

Rehabilitation of mentioned road network will promote transit movement. Roads capacity, driving speed of traffic flow and traffic safety will be increased after completion of the construction. Rehabilitation works on Tbilisi bypass were commenced in March of current year. Works considered construction of road base and new asphalt-concrete pavement.

Also, arrangement of artificial structures, sidewalks, road curbs, drainage system and road signs.  Safety islands are provided for the respective section.

Rehabilitation works are executed by Georgian company “Tsekuri” Ltd. Cost of rehabilitation works, that are financed within the state budget, amounts to 7 mln 435 thousand GEL.
