Roads Department is getting ready for winter season

Deputy Chairman of Roads Department George Amashukeli met with representatives of supervising companies involved in road maintenance. The subject discussed at the meeting was upcoming winter and readiness of contractor organizations for winter road maintenance. Contractors provided to the management of Roads Department detailed information on progress of preparatory works and necessary measures required for winter maintenance (sand and salt storage for winter road maintenance, preparation of machinery).  

At the end of the meeting George Amashukeli noted that preparatory works are progressing in compliance with the plan and Roads Department is ready to ensure uninterrupted traffic at international and secondary roads within the winter season.
