Charmin of Roads Department and his deputies inspected construction of Tbilisi bypass road

Chairman of Roads Department Davit Shavliashvili and his Deputies Negzar Gasviani and George Amashukeli inspected construction of Tbilisi bypass road.

Construction project of 7.3km section of Tbilisi bypass road considers: construction of road base, laying of asphalt-concrete pavement, construction of 14 culverts, installation of road signs and marking of the carriageway.

At present, construction of 6,5 km asphalt-concrete pavement and arrangement of road cut is completed.

Laying of asphalt-concrete is progressing at remaining 0.8 km long section, dressing of road cut and pouring of asphalt-concrete pavement. 

As a result of a new road, transit movement will be diverted to a new alignment at km14-km21 section of Tbilisi bypass road.

Budget of the project is GEL 14,923,000.

Works are implemented by contractor company “Belbau” Ltd. Construction works are financed by the State budget.
