Construction works of Kutaisi bypass -Samtredia road is progressing intensively

Construction works of Kutaisi bypass -Samtredia road (length 25.6km) entered into an active phase. At this stage, construction of structures – reinforced concrete box culverts is underway in parallel with construction of road bed (arrangement of embankment and compaction) at km0-km8 and km14-km18 section of the road.

Construction of 16 culverts is completed by that time. Also, construction of 6 culverts and road base is progressing.

Construction works started July  2012 and will be completed July 2014.

Construction works are implemented by JV "TODINI costrucioni Generali SPA” TAKENAKA CIVIL ENGINEERING&CONSTUCTION CO. LTD“.  Donor Organization is JICA.

Project budget in two currencies amounts to GEL 69,608,678.29 and Euros 20,874,558.14.
