Rehabilitation of 14,936 km section of Tskaltubo-Khoni  road

Roads Department of Georgia is implementing rehabilitation of 14,936 km section of Tskaltubo-Khoni road and rehabilitation of two existing bridges at respective section. Project envisages: construction of entrances to private yards, connections and gabions; Repairing-cleaning of concrete ditches, rehabilitation of existing bridges and construction of enclosed bus stops; Also, installation of road signs and marking.

At present, cleaning of channels is underway. Installation of pipes is completed at 2 km, gravel is spread at 6km and construction of asphalt-concrete pavement will start on August 17.  

Mentioned road will pass through Tskaltubo, Gvishtibi, Gubistskali, Akhalsheni, Didkukhi and Khoni.

Bridge over the river Gubistskali – length 81 m, width – 5,9 m

Bridge over the river Kukha - length 10 m, width – 7 m

Cost of the project under financing of the State Budget amounts to GEL 3,689.000

Project starting date: 17.06.2013

Completion date: 30.11.2013

Rehabilitation works are implemented by “G &G” LTD.
