Construction works of Kutaisi bypass -Samtredia road is progressing intensively

Construction works of Kutaisi bypass -Samtredia road (length 25.6km) entered into an active phase. At this stage, construction of structures – reinforced concrete box culverts is underway in parallel with construction of road bed (arrangement of embankment and compaction) at km0-km8 and km14-km18 section of the road.

Construction of 12 culverts is completed by that time. Also, construction of 7 culverts and road base is progressing.

Construction works started on July 17, 2012 and will be completed on 17 July 2014.

Construction works are implemented by JV "TODINI costrucioni Generali SPA” TAKENAKA CIVIL ENGINEERING&CONSTUCTION CO. LTD“.  Donor Organization is JICA.

Project budget in two currencies amounts to GEL 69,608,678.29 and Euros 20,874,558.14.
