15-kilometer section Sveneti - Ruisi is the part of the high-speed highway E-60, on which the main transit movement of West - East direction is being implemented. Rehabilitation-construction of this section high-speed highway E-60 is one of the most large-scale projects of the Caucasus.  The project includes constructing of almost all species road-structures. Among them: construction of two tunnels with length 800-meter, and two overpasses with length 880-meter.

Construction of two 800-meter tunnels and the road is completed currently. The cement - concrete pavement, with usage time 32 years, on the both directions (30km) of this section of the road has been finished: undergrounds have been arranged, the installation of drainage systems and water pipes is completed. The project was funded by the World Bank. In the frames of the project, on the highway, on the direction to Gori, near Igoeti the new bridge has been constructed. Also, the new bridge on the river Liakhvi and the access road to the bridge have been constructed. 1500 people have been employed on construction works of the road, tunnels and bridges and the most of them are the local citizens.

At the multi-functional service centre, constructed by "Wissol" the petrol and gas stations of "Wissol", special trading area for realising agriculture products, "Wissol" Auto - Express, the supermarket, "Smart" and "Smart Cafй" is placed.

At the service centre constructed by "Sokar" the petrol station, "Goodwill", fast food, small office of bank service, tourist services and children's entertainment centers are placed.

The both centers   are equipped by large-scale parking area for 3 categories of cars, buses and taxi. Also, the place is separated for cargo trailers.

The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia plans construction of such kind of service and recreation centers on 16 key areas according Central Highway throughout the Georgia.Construction of the 2 tunnels with length 800 meters, road section with length 30 km and two ultra modern, multi-functional,  service centers, designed by Urgen Meier have been completed on 15km road section Sveneti - Ruisi of the high-speed highway  E-60.
