Today, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia met with the heads of sub-agencies of the Ministry (Roads Department of Georgia, Municipal Development Fund of Georgia, United Water Supply Company of Georgia) and chiefs of about 200 contractor companies at the  Chancellery of the Government.
Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili talked about future plans with companies’ representatives. They set up the specific dates for commencement and completion of construction works. The Minister encouraged the leaders of the companies to implement works in a high quality manner and took construction sites under his own control. Attention was drawn to the environmental issues at different construction phases.
The Minister underlined the importance of ongoing projects, as the goal of planned works is improvement of roads, municipal infrastructure and water supply system in regions, also it will promote to employment generation.
Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili also noted raised outstanding issues, such as delay of salaries for the personnel.  The Minister requested from the chiefs of the contractor companies to fulfill contractual obligations towards the personnel engaged in construction activities.
