Construction of 60 m long bridge over the river Gldanula is completed. The respective bridge is located at 1 km of Tbilisi-Taineti road. Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has opened a new bridge today.
Bridge, which was connecting village Gldanula with Tbilisi, has been weather-beaten within the current year. Construction of a new bridge was commenced in July. Before completion of a new bridge, population of the village Gldanula and Tianeti has been used bypass road in order to reach the capital city.
Value of the project financed under the Georgian Government amounted to 1 mln 852 thousand GEL. About 80 persons were engaged in civil works.
Repairing works are nearing completion at 9 km of Tbilisi bypass road, where the inclement weather has damaged 2 spans of the overpass. Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili has inspected ongoing works. New pier was built on the overpass, which is secured by 21 m long piles.
