  1. Georgia has received financing from the Asian Development Bank toward the cost of Road Corridor Investment Program - Tranche 3 (Additional Financing). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

 

        2. The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of Lighting of Kobuleti Bypass Road. This civil works contract includes arrangement of lighting systems for Kobuleti Bypass Road Km 0+000 – 12+400. Construction period is eight (8) months.  

 

        3. National competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.

 

        4. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:

 

Pending Litigation: All pending litigation shall be treated as resolved against the Bidder and so shall in total not represent more than 50% percent of the Bidder’s net worth.

 

Financial Situation: The Bidder’s net worth should be at least positive. Its annual average construction turnover for the last 3 three year must not be less than GEL 8.7 million and the bidders should demonstrate that it has access to financial resources of not less than GEL 1.1 million.

 

Experience:

  • Experience under construction contracts in the role of contractor, subcontractor, or management contractor for at least the last five (5) years;
  • Participation as contractor, management contractor, or subcontractor, in at least one (1) contracts similar to the proposed works within the last five (5) years, with a value of at least GEL 2.3 million that have been successfully or are substantially completed, and

 

Construction experience in the following key activities:

  • Road Lighting Network Installation works for at least 3 km. of road in a duration of one year.
