Under the Project, construction works on a 25 km section of four-lane reinforced concrete road at Igoeti-Sveneti section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road (km 55-km 80) were carried out. 2 bridges at the river Lekhura and 2 parallel bridge overpasses at the village Igoeti were constructed. 14 underpasses of different sizes and 51 culverts of different sizes were arranged and, moreover, 9 underpasses with the perfect interchange were constructed.

Viaducts:

• 2 parallel viaducts of Igoeti –190 m.

Bridges:

• 2 bridges at the river Lekhura – 81 m.

Underpasses:

• Samtavisi underpass
• Igoeti underpass
• Gamdlistskaro underpass
• Nigoza underpass
• Khurvaleti underpass
• Natsreti, underpass at the Public School in Shavshebi
• Akhalsopeli, Akhalsheni underpass
• Sveneti underpass.

Project implementation dates: 05.03.2008-29.12.2010

Construction works were carried out by the companies: “Ashtromi” Ltd and “New Energy” Ltd. 

Length of the section to be constructed – 15 km.

Modernization works of the Sveneti-Ruisi section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road (km 80-km 95) into the four-lane highway were carried out in 3 lots.

Lot I – km 80-km 84,75 section;

Lot II – km 84,75-km 86,2 section (construction of Liakhvi bridge overpass);

Lot III – km 86,2-km 99 section (construction of Gori tunnels).

Under the Project: construction works of the 4,75 km section four-lane road with reinforced concrete pavement, 19 culverts of different sizes were arranged, also 3 viaducts and 2 bridges were constructed.

Bridges:

• River Tortla with a length of 21 m.
• River Mejuda with a length of 42 m.

Viaducts:

• Gori viaduct with a length of 21 m.
• Viaduct of Gori-Mejvriskhevi direction with a length of 54 m.
• Tskhinvali viaduct with a length of 57 m.

Under the Project, four-lane bridge overpass with access roads at the river Liakhvi was constructed. Moreover, 2 culverts and 1 overpass with a length of 877 m at the river Liakhvi were arranged.

Under the Project, construction works of four-lane reinforced concrete road were carried out. 2 tunnels, 1 exit (overpass) and 9 culverts were arranged.  

Tunnels:

• Northern tunnel with a length of 783,5 m.
• Southern tunnel with a length of 771,5 m.
