A tender was announced for the remaining rehabilitation works of the Moliti-Chumateleti section of the Dzirula-Kharagauli-Moliti-Fona-Chumateleti sendary road. The deadline for submission of tender proposals is June 19, 2023.

As part of the rehabilitation of the Dzirula-Kharagauli-Moliti-Fona-Chumateleti road, asphalt coating will be arranged, bridges, road drainage pipes, culverts will be rehabilitated, retaining walls will be built, the road will be marked and safety barriers will be arranged.

Basic rehabilitation works have been carried out on the first 25 km section of the 50 km Dzirula - Kharagauli - Moliti - Fona - Chumateleti road. Since the construction company was unable to complete the second section of the road, the contract signed with it was terminated and a new tender was announced for the rehabilitation of the remaining part of the road.

Before the announcement of the new tender, road maintenance works were carried out with the state budget.

As a result of the rehabilitation of the road, movement on the road will become safe and comfortable for the population of Kharagauli Municipality.
