April 30, 2023 Roads Department of Georgia Due to ongoing works on Fridon Khalvashi Street, light vehicle traffic will be temporarily restricted on May 2-21, according to the Roads Department of thye  Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, on the km 0-km 4 (Fridon Khalvashi Street)  section of Batumi (Angisa)-Akhaltsikhe road, For the ongoing rehabilitation works, from 07:00 on May 2, 2023 to 00:00 on May 21, 2023, it is necessary to completely close the section of Batumi (Angisa)-Akhaltsikhe road km1-km3. On the other hand, closing one traffic lane (from Batumi to Akhaltsikhe direction) on the km 3-km 5 section and allowing light vehicles moving from Akhaltsikhe to Batumi one-way. Through. Meanwhile, the light car transport moving from Batumi in the direction of Akhaltsikhe will run from the 109th km of the Senaki-Foti (Asachemi)-Sarfi international road to Chorokhi and etc. through the streets of Shanidze and will be connected to Batumi (Angisa)-Akhaltsikhe secondary road at the 5th km. Traffic will be blocked and diverted in accordance with the attached temporary traffic organization scheme.

For the ongoing rehabilitation works on the Batumi (Angisa)-Akhaltsikhe road section km0-km4 (Fridon Khalvashi Street), from 07:00 a.m. on May 2, 2023 to 00:00 a.m. on May 21, Batumi (Angisa)-Akhaltsikhe secondary road Complete closure of the km1-km3 section of the road. During the closure period, light vehicles moving from Akhaltsikhe in the direction of Batumi will drive through Machavariani street and the Senaki-Poti (Asakhemi)-Sarfi international road. Meanwhile, the light car transport moving from Batumi in the direction of Akhaltsikhe will run from the 109th km of the Senaki-Foti (Asachemi)-Sarfi ibnternational road to Chorokhi and etc. through the streets of Shanidze and will be connected to the Batumi (Angisa)-Akhaltsikhe secondary road at the 5th km.

Traffic blocking and diverting will be carried out in accordance with the attached temporary traffic organization scheme.

Movement under the mentioned regime should be carried out under the direct supervision and coordination of the relevant regional units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
