The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is carrying out rehabilitation works on the 21 km long section of the Tbilisi (Gldani)-Tianeti secondary road. At this stage, artificial structures are being constructed.

Within the framework of the project, the road will be fully rehabilitated, asphalt-concrete pavement will be laid, 3 existing bridges, retaining walls, water pipes, drainage channels and sidewalks will be rehabilitated. It is also planned to arrange connections to local roads, entrances to residents' yards, a parking lot and a bus parking area.

Rehabilitation works begin in Tbilisi and will pass through the territories of Mamkodi village and Tshvarichamia. As a result of the rehabilitation of the Tbilisi-Tianeti road, the movement of vehicles on the road will become comfortable and travel time will be reduced.

The project is financed by 24 948 977 GEL from the state budget.
