Due to the complicated meteorological conditions, in order to avoid traffic delays on the highways, the cleaning works are ongoing. Snow clearing equipment is mobilized in all directions, roads are continuously treated with sand-salt mixture.

Special traffic modes are currently in effect on the following roads:

According to the National Environment Agency, due to intense snow and low temperature on the Mleta-Gudauri and Gudauri (post)-Kobi sections of the Mtskheta-Stefantsminda-Larsi international road, the level of danger of avalanches is high, which is why all types of vehicles are restricted on the mentioned sections. Traffic is free on the remaining sections of the road.

Due to the intense snow and low temperature, on the km 30-km 50 (the village of Gombori-Shua Mtsi Monastery turn) section of the Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi secondary road, light vehicle traffic is allowed using anti-slip chains, and high-speed roads (with two or more driving bridges ) traffic is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to the intense snow and low temperature, the movement of trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats is restricted on the km 1-km 30 section of the Tianeti-Akhmeta-Kvareli-Ninigori secondary road, while the rest of the vehicles are allowed to use anti-slip chains. The movement of high-speed vehicles (with two or more driving bridges) is free. The movement of vehicles is free on the rest of the road.

Due to intense snow, ice and low visibility, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the Khashuri-Akhaltsikhe-Vale international road, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free.

Due to the difficult meteorological conditions (snow, blizzard, poor visibility), the movement of trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 on the km 90-km 112  section of the Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda road and also on the km 1-km 36.5 section of the Akhalkalaki-Kartsakhi international road, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free.

Due to intense snow, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the km 39-km 62 (Nakerala pass) section of the Kutaisi (Mozameta)-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri secondary road and also on the Sachkhere (Sareki)-Uzunta-Skhmeri-Zudali secondary road, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free.

Due to the intense snow and low temperature, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the km1-km52 (Gomi-Sachkhere) section of the Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiathura-Zestafoni secondary road, , while the rest of the vehicles are free to move. Traffic on the rest of the road is free.

Due to intense snow and low temperature, the level of danger of avalanches is high on the km 31-km 66 (Chargli turn-Biso) section of the Zhinvali-Barisakho-Shatili secondary road. Because of this, all types of vehicle traffic is restricted on the mentioned section. traffic is free on the km1-km31 (Zhinvali-Chargli turn) section of the road.

All types of vehicles are restricted on the section of the Kutaisi (Tskaltubo turn)-Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili (Mele-Lasdili) secondary road.  On the section of km 99-km 125 of the same road (Chvelieri-Mele), the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted. And the rest of the road is free. traffic is free on the section of the km 1-km 99 (Tskaltubo turn-Chvelieri) road.

Due to heavy snowfall and danger of avalanches, the traffic of all types of vehicles is restricted on the section of the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia Lasdili secondary road. At the same time, the traffic of trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats is restricted on the km 30-km 177 (Jvari-Kala) section of the road. And, on the section km70-km177 (Khaishi-Kala), light vehicle traffic is allowed using anti-slip chains. The movement of high-speed vehicles (with two or more driving bridges) is free. traffic is free on the km 1-km 30 (Zugdidi-Jvari) section of road.
