The rehabilitation of the 25 km section of Dzirula-Moliti continues. At this stage, road surface and asphalt-concrete pavement are being laid on the road section.

The mentioned section is a part of the 50 km Dzirula-Kharagauli-Moliti-Fona-Chumateleti road. As for the second, Moliti-Chumateleti section, tender procedures are underway to continue the remaining works.

The rehabilitation-reconstruction of the Dzirula-Kharagauli-Moliti-Fona-Chumateleti road includes: the arrangement of new asphalt pavement, bridges, water-carrying structures, drainage channels, retaining walls and safety barriers.

As a result of the rehabilitation of the road, the people of Kharagauli municipality and the surrounding villages will have improved conditions of movement and will be able to move safely and comfortably.

This section of the road connects the municipality of Kharagauli with the E-60 highway. The road follows the Chkhrimela, Dzirula rivers and also the Khashuri-Kharagauli-Zestafoni railway line.

The project is financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The cost of the 25 km section of Dzirula-Molit is 51 467 681 GEL.
