The project of the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, which envisages the rehabilitation of a 6.5 km section of the Borjomi-Baghi-Tba-Tsemi road in Borjomi Municipality, is at the stage of completion.

The rehabilitation section begins in city Borjomi the entrance of the Central Park of Borjomi, at the beginning of the Borjomi-Baghi-Tba-Tsemi secondary road and ends in the territory of Sadgeri village. The mentioned section passes through the resort area, and improvement of the road infrastructure on this road is particularly important.

In accordance with the project, the improvement of technical parameters of the road, rehabilitation of the road surface, repair and new construction of culverts and existing artificial structures (pipes, sidewalks, drainage network), widening of the roadway, re-arrangement of connections to local roads and entrances to the residents' yard, marking of the roadway, Arrangement of road signs and fencing, which ensures safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians. The renovated road will significantly improve the living conditions of the families living here.

The project, 3.4 million from the state budget. It is financed with GEL and the works are planned to be completed in the autumn of the current year.
