Rehabilitation works of the 3.3 km (km5,7-km9) section of the Metekhi-Kvemo Gomi-Natlismtsemeli Church secondary road are nearing completion.

The rehabilitation section is located in Kaspi Municipality, starts at the 6th kilometer of the already rehabilitated Metekhi-Kvemo Gomi-Natlismtsemeli road from the village of Kvemo Gomi and ends at the Igoeti-Kaspi-Akhalkalaki road. It should be noted that a 5.7 km section of this road has already been rehabilitated with the financial support of the World Bank.

According to the project, the road surface was renovated, artificial structures were rehabilitated and new ones were installed, as well as connections to local roads and entrances to the yards of the population. Also, it is envisaged to equip the road with road signs, arrange barriers, install steering poles and mark the carriageway.

The project is financed from the state budget and its cost is up to 2.5 million GEL.
