Due to the difficult meteorological conditions, in order to avoid traffic jams on the roads, cleaning works and dumping of sand-salt mixture are carried out in a continuous mode throughout the country.

The Roads Department urges residents to drive with appropriate tires for the winter period, with proper transport and to obey the regimes imposed on the roads.

According to the National Environment Agency, the level of avalanche danger on the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road is high, due to which the movement of all types of vehicles is restricted on this section. At the same time, cleaning works are underway on a certain section of the road. According to the National Environment Agency, the traffic on the Mleta-Gudauri section will be carried out in a non-stop mode.

Due to heavy snow, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the km4-km36 section of the Tbilisi Revenue international road, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to difficult meteorological conditions (heavy snow, snowstorm, clear ice and low visibility), all types of traffic is restricted on the km1-km36 section of the Akhalkalaki-Kartsakhi international road.

Due to heavy snowfall, snowstorm and low visibility, all types of vehicles are restricted on the km43-km146 section of the Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road. On the km1-km43 section of the same road, the movement of trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats is restricted, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free.

Due to the snowstorm and debris, all kinds of traffic is restricted on the km20-km35 section of the Sagarejo-Desert-Davit Gareji Monastery secondary road. The rest of the road is free for vehicles.
