Due to difficult meteorological conditions, cleaning works and dumping of sand-salt mixture are carried out in a continuous mode across the country in order to avoid delays in the movement of roads.

The Roads Department urges the population to drive with appropriate tires for the winter period, with proper transport and to obey the regimes imposed on the roads.

Special traffic modes are currently in effect on the following roads:

On the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road, according to the National Environment Agency, the high level of avalanche danger remains on the Gudauri-Kobi section, due to which all types of traffic are restricted on this section.

Due to the collapse of the land-rock mass, all types of vehicles are restricted on the Sachkhere-Oni road.

Due to snow and low temperatures, on the Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi road, only off-road vehicles (with two or more leading bridges) are allowed to move, while other types of vehicles are restricted.

Due to heavy snow and low temperature, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the km 39-km 62 (Nakerala Pass) section of the Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road while the movement of other types of vehicles is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to the snowstorm and low visibility, on the km94-km110 (Paravani Pass) Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda secondary road is restricted

Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to clear ice, the movement of trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats are restricted on the Km 70-km 186 (Khaishi-Ushguli) section of the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili secondary road. On the km 138-km 186 (Mestia-Ushguli) section, light traffic is allowed using anti-slip chains. The movement of off-road vehicles (with two or more driveways) is free. Traffic is free on km1-km70 (Zugdidi-Khaishi) section of the road.
